Arts & Craftsmen has been remodeling, designing and building custom homes through direction of its proprietor, Jason Peck, since the company was founded in 2000. During this time, Arts & Craftsmen has developed a solid reputation for combining sensible design with superior products and materials and meticulous attention to detail. The results are evident in dozens of remodels and custom homes located primarily in Portland's older neighborhoods, including Eastmoreland, Garthwick, and Irvington.

Jason Peck began his career as a young boy while apprenticing with his father. After graduating from the University of Montana and moving to Portland in 1997, Jason began working as a lead carpenter on historical renovations with The Hehlen Company. He continued his apprenticeship under Rob Hehlen and Bruce Catone until March 2000. After his father's untimely passing, Jason stepped up to manage the family business interests.

Jason recognizes that attention to detail, timeliness and trustworthiness are as important as skilled design and quality workmanship. By understanding the client's perspective and assuming the same fervor as the homeowner for each project, Jason strives to build relationships that don't just last through a single project. Many Arts & Craftsmen clients become repeat customers and Jason and his crew are happy to oblige, no matter how small the job may be. With more than 20 years experience in carpentry and building, Jason Peck leads the team of skilled professionals at Arts & Craftsmen in handling projects that are distinguished in every detail.
